Its nearly 6 months since we got our keys and I regret taking them without having everything complete. We were to naive to believe that the builder would do this to us as they had generally been up front with us and now looking back things are starting to ring alarm bells. We have waited since December for a maintenance team - first group sent two trades then nothing which we didnt chase for a few months as they had sent some so we thought more would come. After that time it was just dragging on - we then started continually contacting them (phone calls and emails were not returned for over a fortnight) we got nowhere so I resorted to posting my pain on here - we then got a phone call disappointed with what we had written on here and that they thought they had a good build with us - we reiterated that it was mainly down to lack of communication and if they were keeping us updated and actually trying to fix things we wouldn't be so stressed. We were then promised a call the next week from a maintenance team to complete the work however two weeks later we had to call to chase up. We were then told (after us calling them to chase AGAIN) the new team leader for maintenance had a heart attack so he would be engaging a new team last Tuesday. Here we are still no information, no contact - we shouldn't have to chase them. I am worried the longer we let this drag on the more likely we will not have a leg to stand on legally. Are these guys out of cash? What is going on?? Is anyone currently building with these guys and actually have trades onsite? There has been no posts on their Facebook page since December, reviews have been disabled and same with their website. I don't want to drag names through the mud but hey a 5 min phone call, a 2 min email and actually following through on your promises isn't that hard.... well actually... apparently not. Rhoean - when we have a chat I can show you how to do this if you like - happy to help. Excited_Much - hang in there, engage an independent inspector if you can and DO NOT SIGN anything until you are 100% satisfied that everything is right. What problems have you had?? Inbox me if you like. Thanks everyone else too for your support. Re: Warnbro, M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 266May 25, 2015 1:15 pm Forgot to mention also - we still have not been given a copy of our PCI list too. Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 267May 25, 2015 1:50 pm Time to stop doing them a favour and look after yourselves, they are doing you no favours so I wouldn't look after them either, I would be lodging an official complaint this week. They've had PLENTY of time and you're still essentially living in a construction site. Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 269May 25, 2015 3:04 pm Maintenance period is 6 months - less than a month away (19th June) We will be looking into our legal rights this week, going to have a chat with the building tribunal and fill in the intention for complaint. If it gets them moving to complete the work that's great (but really shocking that it took that to get them to do the work) but we are willing to take it further if they fight it. Thanks Archetto - I am all for going forward now, we just need to make sure what we are putting forward is a solid case. Thanks for your support Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 270May 27, 2015 9:00 pm I am willing to host a meeting if anyone wishes to attend as I don't think a public venue would be suitable some of us are extremely upset as this is our homes we are talking about. I suggest we sit down, discuss and write out our problems then decide what we wish to do about it, a few of us have been living this hell for 6 months and more so are at the end of the please and thankyou stage. I have had the help of the building commission, council, independent survey etc. I am now looking at other avenues like channel 7,9 and legal advice. I dont know if it will make any difference but they cannot ignore a group as easily as one person, I am actually shocked and sad to find out there is a group of us. I suggest 2.00 on sunday as most people are free then but if majority needs another day or time please advise please call me 0449673433. I am not most likely not available at 2pm sunday - depending on location. I have had some traction, but still waiting final approval from council. My Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=74866 Re: Warnbro, M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 274May 29, 2015 2:48 pm Observer8 They're nice people and it was merely an offer of free assistance. if they were nice people they would have come back and finished the work outstanding Nice people don't do this to a young couple and their first home sorry thought you were saying m3 were being nice oops Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 275May 29, 2015 2:57 pm I have been reliably informed M3 review this site constantly well I hope it concerns them that clients are getting together and not standing alone it might make them sit up and take notice although I don't hold out much hope on my own behalf but have made enquiries and the building commission will be extremely interested in a group complaint. Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 276Jun 01, 2015 11:46 am well meeting was fantastic and what an eye opener we will be making up a group web site as this is probably not the place to post all our grievances there wouldn't be any space left for anyone else ha ha . will keep you all informed Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 277Jun 01, 2015 12:22 pm So interesting how it's all panning out. Wouldn't be suggesting M3 to my friends - my builder has been great! I feel so lucky! Re: M3 Residential - PCI STILL NOT COMPLETE 5 Months & Waiti 280Jun 02, 2015 12:33 am rhoean can anyone teach me how to put my build on this forum im not very savvy with all this but trying very hard Private message me and I'll tell you This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this. As for the unscheduled site visits, most builders are quite… 1 28324 1 4676 We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing.
