Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 07, 2014 3:34 pm Hi, I purchased land last February and have settled on it in the final week of December. I am currently going through the process of getting approvals before construction can commence. The problem is, I can't get approval from Sydney Water without a works as constructed plan, which I believe outlines where the sewer lines etc are. I have contacted the developer who say that they do not have this plan, which I don't see how that is possible as they subdivided the whole estate and would have had to have plans detailing where everything is.. Anyway, my builder has said they can source one for $830.. I've done some ringing around and found someone who said they can chase it up for $260. How much should this plan cost from a water service coordinator? I would think that because I bought the land that that should include access to the plans to see where everything is? Any thoughts/suggestions please? Re: Works as Constructed Plan - ?? 3Feb 07, 2014 4:39 pm I had my conveyancer contact the developer and they stated that they don't have it. Rang the council and got the run around as well. Its ridiculous for the developer to suggest they dont have it as they would have needed to submit it when subdividing the land. MBA and HIA both have sub contract agreements, check them out 2 7315 I want to build a bigger driveway (without a nature strip) than has been approved under my CDC. I’ve also had a DA approved to build a deck. It looks like I can do this… 0 4809 Fair Trading can issue orders to rectify and complete but once the matter goes to NCAT these orders are automatically vacated. You will have to terminate contract and sue… 21 29712 |
