Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 05, 2014 1:20 pm Hi, I am just curious if anyone is building or has any information on stage 1 land sold at Burawa Rise. Quite a few block of lands were sold but so far I am not able to locate any builder who can provide information on home & land package. Also, Grantham Estate - Riverstone & Eden Grange - Riverstone are near by to Grange Avenue - Schofields. Any thoughts on preference of areas? Pros or Cons? Thanks, ~k~ Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 2Mar 01, 2014 1:21 pm Hi blueeyes,
We're able to secure a land from the later stage release in Burawa Rise. We're also hoping to get info about Stage 1. Nothing is happening yet in the area. Looks like land registration is going to take a while. Have you had luck finding builder or home & land package? Cheers, skyler *-* Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 3Mar 01, 2014 1:43 pm Hey Skyler, Nope - cannot find any information. I have visited numerous display villages but nothing. I think home & land package will be sold once later stages get released so that they can make more profit. Will keep it posted. Thanks, ~k~ Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 4Mar 13, 2014 11:10 am skyler Hi blueeyes, We're able to secure a land from the later stage release (stage 3 i think) in Burawa Rise. Cheers, ~K~ Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 5Aug 08, 2014 2:00 pm Just got my contract amendment notice - sunset clause has moved to Nov 2015. They are expecting land registration in April 2015(Hopefully). Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 7Aug 12, 2014 10:32 am Nope - received it through my solicitor. I really hope land registration happens before April 2015. It is killing the mood. Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 9Sep 18, 2014 8:16 pm We received notice today from our solicitors that the sunset clause is to be moved to Nov 2015! not happy! if you bought the house and land package with Firstyle Homes, I doubt you can build with another builder. Anyone building with Firstyle Homes? When is your building tender valid to? Anyone aware of any other house and land packages in the Schofields area? Rang Skylands today and they are unsure when their blocks will be released? Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 10Oct 07, 2014 8:20 pm I'm building there. Our tender is valid till March 2015! Our solicited is not getting bac in regards to finding another builder so frustrated! Tried calling the people at burawa but no reply to my message. Went to the council and they said the land is approved and all but waiting for engineers for the go ahead, seriously!????!!! Keep us updated on anything your guys find out Cheers! Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 11Oct 19, 2014 6:12 am Hi Roo22 We are having the same issue getting in contact with Burawa Rise. On the up side, they have started clearing the land!!!! If anyone is aware how long it takes from clearing land to registration please let us know. Thanks Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 12Oct 19, 2014 7:39 am Hi babyduck! I guess it depends on the size of the estate. Burawa Rise isn't as big as other developments but there are heaps of earthworks that need to be done. And take into account delays due to weather and christmas shutdown. Developer has been issued one construction certificate last month and there are 2 more pending in council. Thanks for the update babyduck. How often do you visit the site? skyler *o* Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 13Oct 19, 2014 3:58 pm Hi Skyler, Fingers crossed we have good weather to keep things moving. We are hoping that by mid next year the land is registered. We live close by so will be visiting the site every couple of weekends. Will let you know when they start other works. Did you get contact Blacktown Council about the certificates? Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 16Nov 10, 2014 8:32 am Hey guys. I'm looking at purchasing a 'lot' in the coming release but can't decide if Burawa is the best option with the bigger estates like elara and Greenaway's looking impressive. Also skyelands looks like a good spot also. What made you choose Burawa? Anything in particular that stood out and would you recommend buying there? Cheers Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 17Nov 11, 2014 3:55 pm skyler Hi babyduck! I guess it depends on the size of the estate. Work is progressing pretty quick. I decided to visit in last few weekends and I can tell that they are rushing to get land bit sorted. Excitement is back as working drawings are in from builder. Looking forward to it. Re: Grange Avenue Schofields - Burawa Rise Development 18Nov 11, 2014 3:59 pm jeremy30 Hey guys.
