Your backyard is going to be fabulous come summer Cheers Kellie, I am just hoping it will all be done in time for summer so we can finally relax!! Re: Asha's HGWA build - Beginnings of a firepit 1462Sep 13, 2015 11:14 pm Thanks for the info I wondered whether it was the Bunnings ones Re: Asha's HGWA build - Beginnings of a firepit 1463Sep 14, 2015 2:19 pm The firepit area has come up a treat! Love the screens, what a bargain, I thought they'd be so much more expensive. I wonder if that offsets the non-squareness. Re: Asha's HGWA build - Paving pics 1464Sep 14, 2015 9:43 pm asha Thought I would post some pics of our firepit area. As we are are in an area of acre blocks we do not have the luxury of privacy from our (lovely) neighbours so have instead decided that some privacy screens would be of value without feeling boxed in Still have to seal pavers, add pebbles under firepit, stain the timber posts, add plants and uplights on the screen but overall very happy with how it is turning out Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Stunning - and good to see your build too is powered by beer Re: Asha's HGWA build - Beginnings of a firepit 1466Sep 17, 2015 9:03 pm trixee The firepit area has come up a treat! Definitely a bargain - whole screen cost less than $1200 so I can live with the non-squareness Re: Asha's HGWA build - Paving pics 1467Sep 17, 2015 9:04 pm AKB asha Thought I would post some pics of our firepit area. Bloody stunning Cheers Melsie - so happy with it although have been staining the timber and the so-called jarrah stain is VERY orange -yuk Re: Asha's HGWA build - Beginnings of a firepit 1469Sep 17, 2015 9:27 pm Perth_Euro That does look great. How did you mount/install the little poles that hold up the fence into the deck? Any closer pictures through the section at the end of the deck? You have a beautiful home to be very proud of. Sorry it has taken me a while to get around to taking a pic Perth_Euro. This shot probably best descibes how the spiggots are attached to the deck as you can see one of the screws side on (oops completely missed the timber). We infilled between the deck joists with hardwood during framing stage.
