Very exciting Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 83Jul 31, 2014 12:47 am Congratulations!! A quick question, has anyone made changes by variation after pre-start. We today asked what is the process to make a variation to kitchen cupboards and bathroom sink/tap and have been told this is not allowed after pre-start and reflected in our contract. We thought some of yourselves have made variations after pre-start. Any advice appreciated. Many thanks! Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 85Aug 12, 2014 10:44 pm Made heaps!! But I have a feeling that the southwest office is a whole lot more flexible!! Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 86Aug 12, 2014 10:52 pm We made couple changes and were charged a variation fee. We were told no for few things due to cut offs. Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 87Aug 12, 2014 10:56 pm I made like a million lol . Just put it this way redink very good with variations . But I guess it can vary on what it is . Like changing a tap I wouldnt see a problem Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 88Aug 27, 2014 4:14 pm Variations is something I think HGWA need to have a look at and make more allowances for. Building a house is one of the most significant purchases we will ever make and being that all our final decisions are made at pre start (prices are only given to us then so we are pretty much making spur of the moment decisions) of course we are likely to want to change things later when we have had more time to think about them. They need to be more flexible and allow for this Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 89Aug 27, 2014 8:01 pm J+C HGWAbuild Variations is something I think HGWA need to have a look at and make more allowances for. Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 93Aug 30, 2014 10:00 pm Yay for brickwork What colour window frames and rood are you having nicitinic? Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 94Aug 30, 2014 10:13 pm Thanks Asha The roof is ironstone, and windows anodic grey. We've ummed and ahhhed over Basalt roof, but weren't a lot around at the time we did colour selections (seeing a few pop up now) and felt thr Ironside had the same blue grey tinge as the windows. Anyway it will always fade if it's a little dark initially Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 98Sep 01, 2014 12:14 pm Woohoo it looks awesome and yay for a short wait time!!!! Re: Nic & Ger's new home build - Home Group WA -Honeywood Es 99Sep 01, 2014 3:22 pm Congratulations!! it is looking great. I’m a little bit jealous of how quick your brickwork started. I bet you can’t wait to walk through some rooms after looking at only a plan for such a long time. No explanation as to why, no answer to our question as to which clause in the Building Act their contract clause is referring to (as we couldn't find any reference in the Act). Extremely disappointing outcome, particularly with no justification and what we are looking to change is not on the critical path. We have now affectionately moved from 'Slow Group' to 'No Group'. 4 14454 Can anyone recommend a good/affordable retaining wall and fence builder that I can get a quote from located in Sydney? 8 45790 |
