Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 29, 2014 9:08 pm Hi all, Just recently had our slab poured and 2 issues came up: 1) No set down in wet areas only in shower and bath - not the whole bathroom as I would have expected. 2) No dry waste in a few of the wet areas (plumber forgot to install). The dry waste issue, I'm not concerned about as the building supervisor has already advised me that the plumber will be cutting all that back in, they will still ensure everything is compliant. However, the only thing that I found odd, was when I asked why the wet areas aren't set down, he told me that none of their wet areas are set down. Really just wondering if anyone else has had a RInk slab poured and whether or not the whole wet area was set down, or whether it was just the shower/bath which was set down. Thanks in advance. If it turns out this is normal, then no problems, its just that everyone that has been up there to see has asked, "Why isn't this set down?". Otherwise I will probably get professional inspection done. Depends...
