When we selected luxury electrical pack couple of months back it wasn't offering LEDs, but now henley is using only LEDs. Same here only knows that we will be getting 9 watts LEDs. No further information, been told to wait till tender appointment. 35 LEDs downlights plus few other electrical stuff in pack cost us around $4200. Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 5Jan 28, 2014 7:03 pm Nice!! Due to land size we are building the Monaco Q3 however we didn't upgrade to down lights. It's honestly a lot cheaper to do after hand over. But it also depends on your budget, as it is a hassle doing it at a later date Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 6Jan 28, 2014 7:12 pm stayxtrue Nice!! Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 7Jan 28, 2014 7:22 pm It wasn't much to be honest I would have to look at my pricing, but it wasn't that much at all. I will have a look tonight and let you know Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 8Jan 28, 2014 8:07 pm stayxtrue It wasn't much to be honest I would have to look at my pricing, but it wasn't that much at all. It would be close to $1200. This way we can upgrade to LEDs later on. Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 12Jan 29, 2014 4:07 pm Yea I will get the exact cost for you, as the luxury pack is quote expensive, when you can just get it all done after handover and if you get an electrician who is well priced you can get it done very cheaply!! Where are you located again?? Was it the south east?? Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 13Jan 29, 2014 4:16 pm I found a pretty descent sparky, but he was keen to do everything during construction time. I wasn't sure if Henley will allow him to do anything and can create more trouble for me. But changing battens to LEDs would be straightforward for him. I'm planning to use his services for ceiling fans, and drop lights. We are up north, craigieburn. Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 14Jan 29, 2014 6:06 pm Henley won't let you use your own contractors until after handover. Adding lights after handover is way cheaper than what they offer. You will most likely get a better light too. Approx cost installed for an LED light is $80-$100ea Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 15Jan 29, 2014 7:07 pm I had exact same concern that it won't work with Henley or any other volume builder. Same sparky told me that he can source LEDs for $14 each from somewhere. Re: Henley williams landing melbourne 17Jan 29, 2014 7:54 pm Crazyk Wow that's cheap. I would insist on good quality ones ie Phillips or something not a no name brand It was sounding like his trade secret. I didn't insist much at that time as he was more after wiring during construction stage. What should I look for when buying LEDs ? Brand, watts, angle, etc? 2 2927 I am looking to design an entry door to a lower ground basement that has 2200mm between the external entry height to FFL of the ground floor.
