Browse Forums Building A New House Re: APG Home Builder / Boutique Builders 3Feb 11, 2014 6:10 pm I don't think they're overpriced, but haven't dealt with them. I suppose I'd classify them as mid range/spec builders, not at the cheap end and not at the high end. Most of their range seems to be in the $300-500k bracket. They're in the ABN group so any higher than that and people look towards Webb & Brown-Neaves. If you're thinking of using them for single storey there would be many cheaper alternatives. What do you want to build and what's your budget? Re: APG Home Builder / Boutique Builders 4Feb 11, 2014 10:41 pm Hi Dukecaddy, Thank you so much for your comment. I'm looking at $300k at max for a single storey. However, APG has the design that I wanted and not many builders would made much changes on their design. Also, with quite some change on the layout orientation APG has only charged me additional cost of $1k. Optional cost for the stacker doors and upgrades at 7k Would appreciate if someone could review on the workmanship/quality of build. Also the materials they have used, is it worth the money as compared to other builders? Re: APG Home Builder / Boutique Builders 5Feb 12, 2014 3:54 pm Sorry I can't review their workmanship/quality as I've never built with them. As to materials they're going to be pretty much the same as any other Perth volume builder, and for finishing just compare their specifications to other builders you are considering. I personally wouldn't have a problem building with them from the displays of theirs that I have seen. 10 15701 We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
