When the builders cut away, they've created a slight retaining wall, as the dirt has then fallen away, the rock has emerged. Should this be the builders responsibility to move or ours? Getting big rocks/boulders afterwards is quite hard. And they can be quite a feature. Re: Large rock on the block 4Jan 23, 2014 12:16 pm Its not in a great spot, we already have to deal with an ugly easement on our block (sewerage access and storm water access) which is right next to the rock, its partially along the fence line too which will make fencing difficult.
