Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2641May 16, 2015 5:30 pm The garden beds and all the plants etc were done by us total cost for that was around thousands bucks (bit more) but we already had our frangipanis so that saved us big $s as the one in the middle is well over 2 metres in height. The developer did the lawn and retic we had $3500 landscape package but we did have to put in $600 as we chose one of the more expensive lawns. So pretty cheap all up really! Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2642May 16, 2015 7:28 pm That is $600 well spent it looks great - and if you compare it against the neighbours you can see how much greener is it! Lovely Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2643May 17, 2015 5:13 pm Hey belzey. Chasing a charcoal lounge. Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2646May 18, 2015 9:01 am Love the Frangipanis! I transport trees about that size from a couple of nurseries in North Qld back to Brisbane. Was considering getting one for my place... Cheap with a bit of luck lol. Are you confident with their location for future growth? Distance from house and fence? Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2647May 18, 2015 10:41 am Yep the smaller one at the side will be kept trimmed and smaller. The one in the middle of the yard has plenty of room to grow for another 50 years without spreading anywhere near the house. The good thing is these things are as hardy as anything, gets too big we will just relocate it Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2648May 18, 2015 2:28 pm Hardy but fragile lol Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2650May 24, 2015 7:04 am Good Morning Kel!!! lol I have been on a bit of a treasure hunt this morning (digging through some 133 pages of this thread haha) to find tile details. In your original selections it looks like you had chosen a different tile for the ENS to what you had for the main bath but the tiled pictures look as if you ended up using the same tile? What I was actually looking for was the name of the tile you used? Was it the (Edited.. What I thought was the tile was in fact the benchtop)? And where do they come from? Clarendon use Beaumont Tiles and their range of Black tiles is somewhat dismal. Pretty much a very very plain flat black 300x300 tile and it's not even good enough to use for the walls. Oh.. Also (see what happens when people dig lol), you had a really funky splashback selected but didn't use it? Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2651May 24, 2015 11:54 am Hi roomeat all my selections did not change at all, and yes they are different tiles in the bathrooms but both black one has a slight marble pattern through it and is smooth (ensuite) and the bathroom ones are matte and rough textured and a lot darker I will get you info of the tiles etc if I can find my tile selections info. Splashback in the kitchen is the snakeskin looking tile (in my selections) it has a glittery effect and looks awesome in person, pictures never really show how beautiful it is. I love the fact you dig so far back lol. Re: Kel & Troy's HGWA - no black but some lovely green lawn! 2652May 24, 2015 12:36 pm Tonk Looks really nice Kelly Makes such a difference. I love the fact you dig so far back lol. LOL Was kind of frustrating!! Had to go back to page 1 and try to reference that to the pages with pics haha Will take a few pics in a min of the tiles we looked at yesterday from Beaumont. Got to say.. I'm kind of upset at the poor range of styles / sizes / textures available for black. I am now prepared to be held at knife point while Clarendon tell me how much it's going to cost to use "upgrade" tiles lol Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!!
