Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 81Mar 26, 2014 1:00 am Im usually up to 12 or 1ish so not quite as late as you - only time I get to watch what I want on telly. Addicted to the lifestyle channel. I've got two boys, 6 year old who thinks he's 20 and just turned 1 year old - this one is super cheeky and keeps me on my toes. 11 and 14 - I'm kinda dreading that age where they wont want to know me anymore. My 6 y.o. already doesn't like to hold my hand in public. I admire your mindset about how long it will take. Im completely the opposite I told them that their schedule isnt going to cut it and they have 10 months from start to finish - though I don't think they will make it but its worth a shot Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 82Mar 26, 2014 7:39 pm I used to love the Lifestyle channel on Foxtel. My boys are at a great age really independent but still need their mum (lets face it I think most boys need their mums for a long time). My hubby and I started pretty young so we are getting a lot of time together now so it is nice! I think going in with that mindset and if things take less time it is a big bonus but if I went the other way not allowing for time etc and wanting it done quicker I would do my own head in haha! Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 83Mar 26, 2014 9:02 pm I only want it done quicker because I'm driving from Dalyellup to Australind twice a day for the school run - sooo over it. Plus we are overseas at the end if the year for 5 weeks so it would be nice to get the keys before we go away. I promise im not a stalker but do you drive a black suv - I think I passed you tonight Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 84Mar 27, 2014 12:08 am Oh that is a LONNNNNNG drive to do every single day!! I most certainly do lol numberplate is a bit of a giveaway hey whereabouts were you next time honk haha (what kind of car do you have so I can keep an eye out)... Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 86Mar 27, 2014 12:25 am asha Hehe I was coming out of Bunnings cos it was my turn to cook - so we had subway! Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 88Mar 29, 2014 9:32 pm Thanks a lot Treeseachanger We went and looked at a couple of Home Group display homes today and the sales consultant was telling us that flickmixer taps are now standard and European appliances and that we should get them in our new home?? Has anyone else heard about this?? Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 89Mar 29, 2014 9:38 pm I think it's part of a promotion, I've seen the ad in the paper. Not sure if it's always available? From memory it included other stuff like stone bench tops. He stated they are standard inclusions now - yeah we have the promo (pretty sure it did not include tapware though?)...I was a bit confused haha and still am! If wasnt too much though maybe $500. What brand European appliances were they? Only asking because the temporary prestart display in the Bunbury office has only westinghouse ovens and it was only fitted out this week???? I have no idea asha I was all confused and he started talking about something else afterwards...I was thinking there has been no mention of this at all - I probably should of asked but I could not be effed!? Maybe he just had NFI hahahahaha!! Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 93Mar 30, 2014 12:02 am Even if there was mention if it - doesn't mean thats what you actually get. Prime example are the "stone" benches that are included - corion is acrylic aka plastic. I brought this up a couple of times and the reply was that it has minerals in it - um yeah so does my make-up. Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 99Mar 30, 2014 1:25 am My parents have bought a block now and are looking at houses and dad asked me to go there today to have a look at the displays so I quickly ducked into The Home Group one! So I can stop thinking about all that crap and then start on the slab thoughts lol. Any ideas when your site works etc will start? Re: Kelly & Troy's build in Millbridge - Home Group WA 100Mar 30, 2014 1:34 am Even after prestart you will still question your decisions , got knows I am anyway.
