Who did you go through to source the materials? Hey kel he is very handy not much he cannot do! We sourced the materials from bunnings and all stores like super amart, fantastic furniture etc sell the wardrobe internals as well (like the drawers and shelve units) for really reasonable prices. archetto Wow good job! Looks great, how much did it cost doing it yourself roughly? Hey archetto roughly $1200 and that includes all my new felt hangers and baskets etc, so pretty happy with that considering we had a quote for nearly 3 grand to do it through a wardrobe place here. Kelgofast Hi Belzey, love your house, looks amazing. Did you have any luck with the grout issue, did they end up fixing it for you? Hey kelgofast thank you home group still haven't addressed the bloody grouting issues yet. Our walls are getting repaired soon though so that's good! One thing at a time I guess lol. Re: Kelly & Troy's Home Group WIR fitout 2770Nov 16, 2015 1:36 pm Awesome thanks! My partner is a chippy and just generally good at stuff like that anyway so now I shall add that to this ever growing list of things to do Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Kelly & Troy's Home Group WIR fitout 2772Nov 17, 2015 1:30 pm That's a bummer about the grout, on a side note, Ikea sell fitted wardrobes in all shapes and sizes as well, that is what we are planning to buy when we get closer to handover, most of there range is under the $1000 mark which is a added bonus we were going to get ours done through the cabinet maker but I need to win lotto first. But I have seen others use the IKEA stuff and it looks great. Re: Kelly & Troy's Home Group WIR fitout 2774Nov 17, 2015 2:26 pm yeh I feel you, going to Ikea is like driving the wrong way down the highway, you see heaps of cool stuff but its crazy as hell My Cake Decorating Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/YummyTummyCupcakes12/ Follow our build here: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80481 Re: Kelly & Troy's Home Group WIR fitout 2775Nov 17, 2015 8:28 pm WIR looks amazing Kelly, your hubby did a great job, you must be so proud!
