I went a bit crazy on my furniture and do think now maybe could of spent a bit less . Because I need so much more . Lol . And I dont get much left after bills are paid . Melsie I guess you could use the whole 'you only live once line' but I am more opposite now and prefer to have $s in the bank unfortunately this whole moving thing has sucked well over 30k of our savings in new furniture and just general bills when moving (nbn, a/c upgrades, blinds, curtains, accessories etc) it all adds up quick smart...plus we still have landscaping and a few other bits and pieces to go building certainly is not cheap and I take my hats off to those that can do it on a nice strict budget! d3us_85 It's a delicate balance between living outside your means and enjoying what you've worked so hard for...
