Aveling Homes build at Champion Lakes

Hi Burnsfirsttime -Just looking throught the specifications addenda it says, '2x Huwil Senso Bifold in lieu of standard overhead cupboards'. $880. I costed it to about the same to get the bi folds from Masters home improvements.

Price is about right. I did a lot of quotes for everything, doors, handles, entry door hardware, tiles, skylights, electrical, etc etc before i went into prestart. 3 solid weeks of running around with my plans, all over town, scanning the net and on the phone. I added everything into prestart then compared my quotes then started to eliminate from the variations list. Costs $$ to add to variations list after prestart but not to take away. By the time you factor in the cost of the item, the installation costs, finding some one to do it when you want it done, the price difference between the two wasnt all that much, particularly with the kitchen wall cabinets. We will still do our own laundry wall cabinets.
We are going with our own main flooring and carpets. But still got the builders discount cos we mentioned Aveling as our builder. Also got a 30%off voucher for our mail floor rug. YAY. Going to fit our own window furnishings, custom made was too much $. See what we can get prepackaged.

Yay. We got frames delivered today. And the door to alfresco is all sorted.

I would say you should see walls up by the end of the month... but with Easter in the middle, I could be wrong.

It takes time... but the build will happen pretty quickly after walls go up. At least that is what we have found. The longest wait was between slab and walls.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know you have been patient but it would be lovely to see some action

We have had the bricks sitting there for 8 weeks now. We have been told we will have to wait 1 more week.
