Did you find any info about them? we have visited their new display house in Gregory Hills. The house is impressive. I'm also curious about them. Any good/bad comment would be great. The sales guy gave me an estimate price of our own floor plan which I found reasonable but can't confirm until I get the tender. Hi, I'm also interested about Vesta homes but can't find many reviews about them. Do you know how much the tender is? Some builders do them for free and I don't really want to pay for tender as it is money better used for something else. 30/01/16 - Site works commenced 02/03/16 - Piering completed 19/03/16 - Slab poured 06/04/16 - Frames completed 15/04/16 - Fascia/gutter/roof rail installed 20/04/16 - Roof tiles completed Re: Building with Vesta 4Sep 10, 2014 1:22 pm Hi jaxology, I didn't ask for the tender yet. My initial discussion was to get an idea how much roughly the build may cost adding up al the inclusions and our requirements. I think until you ask for a tender officially nobody would be able to give you exact figure. If you go with the builder's established design and inclusion then they can tell you close amount they are asking for that specific house. Then you need to add up your upgrades/modification. where are you building by the way? do you have any other builders in your mind? Hi, I am thinking of going with either Jandson Homes, Allworth or Beechwood homes. How's your building process going? 30/01/16 - Site works commenced 02/03/16 - Piering completed 19/03/16 - Slab poured 06/04/16 - Frames completed 15/04/16 - Fascia/gutter/roof rail installed 20/04/16 - Roof tiles completed Re: Building with Vesta 6Nov 15, 2015 3:17 pm Hi Guys I went through the tender process with Vesta. I initially paid $1000 as you would with most builders. I was given the "yes" approach, yes to everything, everything is included. The tender was based on the generic floor plan which include a number of inclusions that was not part of my build. The tender went to the bank and I was told via my broker that the build price for the size and inclusion was too high – 150K over!. I provided Vesta the reports from the bank to see if we could explore options. Who in their right mind will want to buy a car value at 5K for 15K. The banks certainly would and neither would I! Unfortunately by this time I had paid a further 3500. Even though for the start and during my last meeting, the sales person confirm my deposit would be refundable however in the end they quickly pointed me to some policy and said rack off! I would recommend to anyone thinking of building with them to exercise caution. A house is one of the biggest investments you’re going to make and my advise would be to go with someone with proven and demonstrated experience. good luck Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
