Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 17, 2014 11:16 am I have repeated trouble in getting my builder to respond when I ask my Client Liason Officer when certain stages of my build are scheduled. The other day I asked when the septics were scheduled as I knew the company doing them is flat out and I wanted to point out they will not be able to do it in winter. All I wanted was a simple answer of "yes in April" or "they won't be scheduled until roof is on". Instead one and a half weeks and three emails later and nothing from CLO. I am spending loads of money on building a house not ordering McDonalds!!!! I am nothing but polite on the phone, I do not yell and scream yet they just don't return calls or emails. Anyone else experienced this??? I didn't blame him but, on the other hand, he was prone to ringing me up and then saying "I need such and such "a client-supplied item" and I need it yesterday"! That is a really good attitude Akin to you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I do enjoy watching that tik tok inspector from Victoria but he does go a little… 12 81884 Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20413 |
