That's excellent news! Additional costs are always a nightmare! Henley honestly seem to be good with that sought of thing Try contacting your sales office people first. They should be able to provide you with details of your neighbours. The sales rep at our place said to contact her and she will provide me with their details when i am at that stage. Doesn't hurt to try. If they won't give you the details then i guess council will be the last resort. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Were there any surprises all through the process ? I've been hearing all weird experiences where people have been charged for 6 star energy ratings & site costs even when they signed on a Fixed site cost contract ? Is it a normal process to have Council Requirement costs in addition to fixed Site Cost ? Any experiences would be really helpful ! Cheers Build thread of our Monaco Lux Q1 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76750 Update: Handover - 2 Sep fixed site cost 76Jan 27, 2015 8:28 pm We were charged extra $150 to make front portico slightly bigger due to council requirements. We weren't charged extra for energy rating, though insulation was upgraded after energy assessment report. But it was covered. We had to pay extra around $950 for translucent glazing layer on all habitual windows upstairs. It was during tender appointment, to comply with RES codes. No other surprises at all. It seems to be pretty good in the start altough alot of people complain of that just going worse ? What stage are you in now ? is the build completed ? only assuming looking at the dates on the previous post I'm in the final stages and hoping to sign a contract with Henley soon !! I'm pretty sure they can subject to supply compaction and soil reports from your developer. This gives them enough information to go with a ball park figure.
