Hi Lenny171
We're building with Clarendon and they've charged us $300 per bathroom to lower the floor by 40mm in order to have a seamless lower level. They're also going to cut the alfresco sliding door in so that it's level.
Cheers,
David

Don't quote me on this one, but I would've thought they put a mold of appropriate size and shape at pour time so that the slab. I guess if they pour the slab flat, then I guess must then cut and chip it out afterwards, which is all I can think as to the extra costs they are charging for it. Slabs are generally flat except for the required step downs in the garage, front porch and alfresco. The 'slant' is obtained by the tiler when laying the tiles and in most cases is fairly minimal as you don't normally need much for the the water to flow down the waste. The requirement is for a waterstop to be installed to the entries of the room, (a small aluminum 'L' angle to retain the water to within the room) can't see if they have… 1 1938 This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described. Would you consider accessing the separate toilet from the laundry? If so maybe… 1 11252 |
