Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 10, 2014 5:27 pm The christmas break was fairly short for us, however nothing more will be happening as our Site superviser isnt back till wednesday Januray 15th. Once he is back we will see some more progress. If it keeps going along at this rate I am sure we will be in our home within the next 3 months Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 2Jan 10, 2014 6:45 pm Nice, they sure are fast once it starts. Looks like u would be in before financial year is over! u getting independent inspections done just for peace of mind? Have u seen their new display homes in berwick waters? I am assuming it will be around april/may that we will be receiving the keys. Well thats what I am hoping for anyway! the longer it takes means the more money we are able to save for the things that we still need Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 5Jan 13, 2014 12:01 pm isn't strange that how an empty piece of land can make us so excited i know its bit crazy but i visit my block twice a week, lol. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 6Jan 13, 2014 12:34 pm Yep! I was visiting it 1-2 times a week! Then houses started! That was even more exciting! But there are so many houses there at the moment that have stopped! the way ours is going we will be finished before some of the ones that started 4-5 months ago! However there are now 3 houses completed with residents! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 7Jan 13, 2014 4:54 pm That's great, your tradies didn't stop over the Chrissy break. Would look forward to latest pics. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 8Jan 14, 2014 6:20 pm Well they stopped just before Christmas then our roofing guys came out 1 week after Christmas. However from there that's it our site supervisor is back on site tomorrow. However the heat at the moment I doubt anything is going to happen this week, unless they work in the mornings Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 9Jan 14, 2014 6:22 pm stayxtrue Well they stopped just before Christmas then our roofing guys came out 1 week after Christmas. Hoping the house is bricked and at lockup by the end of next week Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 11Jan 14, 2014 8:14 pm It's still around mid 30'c at 9:30 pm. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 12Jan 15, 2014 9:08 am Yep! When I got in my car at 7am it was 31 its sooo hot! This heat wave needs to just hurry up and go away Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 13Jan 15, 2014 9:19 am So true, can't blame tradies in this week. Just so damn hot outside. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 14Jan 15, 2014 2:08 pm Well our Site Supervisor is officially back to work as of today. So I think I will go up there after work and see if they have done anything or not. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 15Jan 15, 2014 9:34 pm Fyi I dont know if this applies to home building but with commercial construction if the temperature reaches 35degree by a certain time usually before lunch time and there is no alternative that u can work in eg if u dont have frames or roof up yet then u cant work outside cause its damm hot then the tradies can go home for the day (inclement weather - heated off....)
