Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 23Jan 19, 2014 8:38 am Well my part of the state is still pretty empty as I am in stage 1 and my house no other houses around it so it's pretty exposed Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 24Jan 19, 2014 6:00 pm Heres to hoping other houses starts getting built so u guys won't be so lonely!! Henleys got 3 new designs on the otherside of berwick waters. Lovely homes. Big grand Island wonder how big ours is gonna be compared with the displays. Got a day off tomorrow so will go and have a look then. But I have noticed that they have changed the floor plan of the Monaco q3 slightly, but I like ours before they changed it! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 26Jan 20, 2014 9:32 am I called my building admin and our bricks are not going to be done till sometime after Australia Day What other work can they do if they there's no bricks happening? Plumbing is all done, roof is done, windows are in, the only thing I can think of is the electricians, but that's not going to take more than a week. I guess I get to look at a frame and roof for another week and half Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 27Jan 20, 2014 9:42 am oh no, that's like no work for one whole week. what a waste of time. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 28Jan 20, 2014 9:53 am And counting all of last week, so 2 weeks of no work!!! It's sooo annoying to see the houses around me who started after us being bricked and having more work done Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 29Jan 20, 2014 9:57 am Your bricks delivered already but no brickie? Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 30Jan 20, 2014 11:18 am Nope bricks haven't even been delivered Delays suck but in some ways it's good as it means we can save up more money while our repayments are still low Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 31Jan 20, 2014 1:32 pm Perhaps they had ordering issues regarding the bricks? Hang in there, a week will pass by very fast and before you know it they'll be back out there finishing the bricks for you! Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Went from putting pipes in etc preparing for slab to slab with a frame on it in less than 2 weeks. It only took about 6 weeks to get to lockup. Now it really has slowed down! Every time we go there is something else done but it's a crawl to the end after the sprint at the start. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 33Jan 20, 2014 4:39 pm Yea with in 2 weeks we had a slab and frame and now they have no Brickies and no bricks to do that part! I'm just hoping they make up time on the Inside! At this rate we won't be finished till may/june Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 34Jan 20, 2014 9:23 pm Looks great! Do you have a floor plan? Don't stress about the progress, I'm sure they'll catch up soon. Bugger about your stacker doors, they looked so good! I'm sure they'll be replaced though. I hope we don't have any issues like that... - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Renovated...a LOT. Built in 2013. Our thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67954 Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 36Jan 21, 2014 7:59 am Hey Buddy, how much time did they tell you till handover? have they given you the date or just approx month? two weeks will go quicker, as far as they complete in the given timeline, that is acceptable what is your facade and do you have your electrical plan we have selected the top electrical package, but not sure, how many down lights should we go for Bedrooms, 4, 2 or none? Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 37Jan 21, 2014 8:16 am Hi Kedar, I dont have an electrical plan on me at the moment, I would have to get one when I am at home. We decided that the electrical plan was just too much and will get downlights at a later date Which house are you building? I didnt like that it was open in the original plan Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Heritage hill berwick waters 40Jan 23, 2014 9:45 am So went up to the site last night and they have put through all of our electrical wires so we can see where all of our lights are going to be. Later down the track I am going to upgrade the licing area to downlights when I have some more money. we also had some parts of our frame replaced as they had some pretty big knots in them.. So we were pretty happy with Henley doing that for us! Howdy all. I am looking for feedback on what people would do to maximise and make an area as flat as possible.
