If you want to see a crazy example I can probably get a picture of 2 houses side by side where BOTH built there garage on the boundary back to back! If you are in the Cranbourne area they are the two houses directly across from the National Builders Group display home in the Hunt Club Estate. One of the things I have requested from our builder is a 6m x 8m garage, and due to its width it will be built right on the boundary. So I know its possible here.
