Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 Mk2 Regent-Keys on 30th October 368Mar 13, 2015 3:38 pm mirz hey kedar_u, hope you are enjoying your new house. hows post handover experience? HI Mirz, nice to hear from you, it has been fantastic, feel like moved out of 2 start(rental property) to 5 star hotel.. but Henley has been gr8 so far. just make sure if henley tried to push anything e.g touch ups or repair after handover just say NO. Ask them to get things sorted first and then will sign the handover. i am talking about the report and defects from Independent Inspection. sort out everything and only take keys. we have not had any bad experience but we found couple of things which got delayed, i told them that i am not in rush to fix it. so i am happy to wait for 12 months inspection. they are always in rush to hand it over so they can tick on off the list and move on to next one. recently i found that there supposed to be two power points, i checked during handover but somehow you miss in the excitement. i did that too. so i called them and they have scheduled to install next week. i thought they may not do it, but they said thats ok will do it. it was absolutely unexpected. Also one suggestion. whenever you take handover, tell them that you will notify within a week if you find something because there are many things, Independent inspector or you wont pick but will show up later. so please make sure they agree on that. i had gr8 site supervisor and he was absolutely hands on. i still have few issues, and i told them it does not need to be fixed tomorrow, i am happy to wait till 12 months maintenance inspection, but keep that in writing. if they tell you yes will do it. ask them in writing. few issues like, -paint touch ups (this are only visible in the morning when sun light comes in house and you can see on the side of entry walls, they said they will have to repaint whole wall and they will do it on 12 month maintenance) - Cracks (there will be so many little cracks, because house will move) - bricks color bleeding (our bricks bleed twice, so they have given the number of Bricklayer and asked to contact him directly for acid wash. he did twice) - Soft close door does not go in smoothly etc etc. But please make sure you have everything in writing. Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 Mk2 Regent-Keys on 30th October 369Mar 13, 2015 8:00 pm Thank you so much for this detailed response or should I called words of wisdom for everyone close to completion. I'm keeping hard copy of your post to remind me from now to post handover. cheers Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10512 |
