Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 16, 2013 12:06 pm Hi All, I am new to this website and glad to see so many threads would help people like me who is just building a new house at the first time. I got a quick question here. I've just gone through the Colour Selection stage and the lady told me the toilet I am entilted is close-coupled, "S" Trap and bottom inlet. (Imperial Valero) I notice that Botton inlet is out of date and want to update to back inlet toliet, however, she told me the plumbing cost for Back inlet will be more expensive. She offer me 125 dollar +GST for the credits if I don't like the toliet they provided. But for the plumbing, they can only do "S" Trap and bottom inlet, if I want to go for Back inlet Plumbing, there will be money money money!!! I checked a few bathroom shops over the weekend, they told me usually for the new house these days, back inlet for the toilet should be standard and as this's new house for putting all pipes in the same time, it won't be much difference for the cost of plumbing for both methods and my builder shouldn't charge me more. Do I get rip off for this extra cost of plumbing? Thanks Guys If there have been changes, variations, during construction then the drawings should be revised, the building permit amended and the current, as built drawings given to… 2 4480 In my experience roof is essential element of the building envelope and hence a common property and should be covered by owners corporation however a detailed review of… 3 6169 |
