Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 31, 2022 7:52 am Hi all, Asking for advice for the below home. The mortar has a massive variation and looks ugly. There has been no change to this wall over the last 6 months of the build. The builder is refusing to tint the mortar prior to handover to rectify the wall and is saying they will 'review' the situation in 3 months after handover. Simonds are advising us that the sun will allow the mortar to 'even out' in the colour over time. My concern is, if it hasn't happened in the last 6 months, what is another 3 months going to do? This is a corner lot so it really impacts the property. Advice please?
