Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building at Willowdale 1181Apr 17, 2015 5:23 pm Hello all, Is anyone paying extra for building next to a sewer?????? The builder is charging me a fair bit (6K!!!) for being in the waterboard's 'Zone of Influence' so they have to pier to an extra depth 3.2 metres to protect the sewer from foundation/slab. The sewer is only 2.5m from the front of my house slab and 3.2 meters in the ground. Hope you guys can get the emails in future (even after nearly a year & a half of advocating to be on the mailing list, I've only just been added lol! Sent using Tapatalk Forgot to mention that I was told Stage 2d won't be registered until June. Apparently it will happen after Stage 2g. I was told this is because 2d is both Campbelltown and Camden councils whereas 2g is solely Camden. Was told a month ago that being in 2 councils would have no impact on timelines...... Deposit paid 3/9/14. Tender signed 3/10/14. Contract signed 22/10/14 Construction commenced September 2015 PCI 7/3/16 Re: Building at Willowdale 1185Apr 22, 2015 8:24 pm Hi all, Hoping everyones build is ok despite this crazy weather!! Re: Building at Willowdale 1187Apr 22, 2015 10:16 pm Hi Willowdaler, anyone has chance to visit the estate from last 2 days storm? any flooding in the area? hopefully Stockland has done great job in drainage and we are all good. Re: Building at Willowdale 1188Apr 22, 2015 11:11 pm Redfernpoint Hi Willowdaler, anyone has chance to visit the estate from last 2 days storm? any flooding in the area? hopefully Stockland has done great job in drainage and we are all good. Hey redfernpoint, we had a drive down to willowdale today while it was raining hard and there was no flooding in sight. Stockland has done great job with the drainage system. We saw however that one of the trees they recently planted on the roundabout was about to fall down. Also they had taken down the fence that was blocking access to stage 2a/2b and moved the other fence further down the streets. We could go on our street (Moriarty St) but unfortunately not on our lot! Re: Building at Willowdale 1191Apr 23, 2015 6:30 pm Hi Guys... I've finally had a chance to get on here. It was so nice meeting neighbours at the Easter meet and greet. I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter and all the builds are coming along nicely. I was able to get in touch with Emma yesturday and she said that there was no flooding at all. I was a little worried as our lot is adjacent the canal. Has anybody heard any news regarding release dates for 3E? Last i heard was June/July but from everybody elses responses it doesn't look anywhere close to that. Re: Building at Willowdale 1192Apr 23, 2015 9:08 pm Nimsy RonyMay 2C will be registered in 2-5 weeks Great news! Who told you this? As I'm in 2E and haven't heard anything from anyone that I'm suppose to. Yeah that is great news, and yeah who told you this lol, we are 2E also and are getting tired of waiting.
