According to older posts it was supposed to be the beginning of Feb ? I am not too sure I'm sure you can call them and they would be more then happy to tell you Re: Building in Willowdale 82Feb 06, 2014 4:14 am Hi everyone, just a heads up so no-one else gets caught out. We are building and are having massive issues. Please inbox me and let me know who you are thinking of using. I won't name on open forum or disclose facts as we don't need any issues and if it's not him I won't say who it is but if it is, I will suggest you may wish to do your own homework which won't be hard as it is now common knowledge in the local and wider industry as it is so bad! Please don't mention names here if you know.
Re: Building in Willowdale 85Feb 10, 2014 8:46 pm Can anyone recommend a builder, so many to choose from trying to find the good from the bad is a hard thing to do. Re: Building in Willowdale 86Feb 12, 2014 4:16 pm Street Names Draft street names for Precinct 1 and 2 at Willowdale have been approved by the naming board and are now with both Campbelltown and Camden Council to provide their approval. We anticipate a response from Campbelltown Council within the next month and Camden Council to follow in April. It is likely that the street names will not be finalised until closer to registration of the land. Inspiration for the names has been drawn from the Australian Scout Movement, as the 9th Australian jamboree was held on the site in the 1970’s. Names have also been inspired by butterflies tying into our first land release and new beginnings and finally water supply/canal names as the Sydney canal runs through the middle of the community. Just read this in an email from Stockland Re: Building in Willowdale 87Feb 12, 2014 9:00 pm JnSWILLOWDALE Street Names Draft street names for Precinct 1 and 2 at Willowdale have been approved by the naming board and are now with both Campbelltown and Camden Council to provide their approval. Here will be an interesting topic. What do we willowdalers do for a buck? What's your occupations and your hobbies interests? Hi Daviboy, My husband is in the defence force, and im a registered nurse. We are very excited to meet and great fellow willowdalers, and furthermore excited to get our and registered to start the build! Re: Building at Willowdale 89Feb 15, 2014 8:19 pm Hi Everyone, I noted that Stockland Willowdale website has updated the link of design guidelines. Previously, they attached the design guidelines for other estate - Brooks Reach at Horsley (Illawarra). http://www.stockland.com.au/residential ... 171013.pdf Great to know that we have only one option to select for the fencing, that's COLORBOND steel in Grey Ridge. No need to worry about the fencing material and colour with neighbours. I think we may need to consider the design guidelines item 3.0 COLOURS, MATERIALS AND FINISHES when we select brick and facade design and colour: 3.1 For two storey homes, a mix of materials and colour is to be applied to the front façade (and secondary facade for all corner lots). 3.2 Face brick must be smooth finish and single in colour. Blend or mottled colour bricks will not be endorsed. Thanks. Re: Contour(slope) affected lots at Willowdale 91Feb 17, 2014 7:21 pm Contour issue : I have bought a lot in 1h stage, from the contour plans of 1g and 1h I can see almost all lots have that fall/slope of an average 1.5 metres, mine is 2 metres. Builders are quoting around 20k for site cost. Does anyone have met any builders and discussed about the lot slope. If anyone has any alternative plans(split house model) for some cost affective solutions to encounter the contour affected lots ? As we also bought in that release, although we were told ours is max 400mm drop. Using Tapatalk Re: Building at Willowdale 93Feb 19, 2014 12:38 pm daviboy Anyone know if Willowdale requires or is recommended to have M class or H class slab? The class of the Slab (as per what I understand after talking to the builders) will depend on soil analysis. Unfortunately they(builders) can't go on the lot to get the spoil sample until the site area is open for them. Re: Building in Willowdale 94Feb 19, 2014 12:42 pm GnM_clearwing Can anyone recommend a builder, so many to choose from trying to find the good from the bad is a hard thing to do. I think the recommended builder will vary as per requirements like budget, quality, etc. I and my partner are going with Masterton. They are well known and the price I found was reasonable. Also they gave the "Free Site Inspection" thing I guess. They were happy to give me a tender of the cost if I was able to provide them with certificate 149 (section 2 & 5 I think).
