Which Home was it? I have one next door to me. I'm number 10! Could potentially be neighbours Re: Building at Willowdale 1669Aug 12, 2015 2:48 pm PixiGT swiftsport Nice pixigt how does fencing work out if your first one to build and no else around you? How much does fencing cost? Pixigt did you cement all that yourself? Hi swiftsport, you can access contact details for your future neighbours via a form from your local council, then for example you have the option to call them to request that they pay their portion of the cost, either at the time of fence construction or at a later date that you agree on. Different contractors can cost varying amounts, based on complexity of fencing required & the rates charged by the contractor. I can PM you my fencers' details if you like (& my landscaper, if you would like that as well) All the concreting at my place was done by my concrete contractor (still a bit out the back, the entire other side, & a small section across the front to go) ️ Sent using Tapatalk Hi PixiGT. New to forum. Congrats on your new house, howpe the remaining work goes well for you. I am building on Offtake st and will be doing the driveway, fencing and landscape myself. Would you be kind enough to share the contact details for fencing and landscaping guys please? Re: Building at Willowdale 1670Aug 12, 2015 2:56 pm Hi everyone. Does anyone have this drainage pipe access popping up in their front yard which has been done by builder. I have 2 in my front yard. I have seen few around in the community. Are we able to hide them with landscaping but know their positions if need arises in future? Does anyone have this drainage pipe access popping up in their front yard which has been done by builder. I have 2 in my front yard. I have seen few around in the community. Are we able to hide them with landscaping but know their positions if need arises in future? Hi Kishii7, just check what the usage is for the pipes (some, for example, are drainage overflow in case your system gets backed up, some are stormwater related, some are water tank related, some are blackwater related), before you get any changes done, so you can ensure you are making the correct changes that will suit the type of pipe It may be helpful to have a look at a decent copy of your drainage diagram from your builder, then provide this to your landscaper so they can make the appropriate changes (ie: reducing the height to sit flush with your ground surface/can it be capped &/or buried). Hope that helps Sent using Tapatalk Re: Building at Willowdale 1674Aug 12, 2015 3:43 pm PixiGT Kishii7 Hi everyone. I'm buying home and land package from EBH lot 9005 on winter at I think. It will be a long while before it's built land registered approximately June 2016. Anyone know how long after land registered before EBH begins building? Usually 3-4 months after land registration & settlement. Pretty same timeline for all builders. It takes that long to gain settlement (bank confirmation) and finalise council or complying development's approval (takes 2-3 months, a month for settlement and another month or so for plan approvals). Another few weeks after that for the builder to get to site and start. For your case might be a bit faster since its H&L and they might have got some principal approvals done earlier. But be conservative and expect 3 months at least. go upvc window frames ensure insulation under colorbond. not just sarking, lighter color roof also not sure if you have seen this viewtopic.php?t=5823 last couple of pages… 4 110592 Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11039 |
