Hi Redfernpoint, There used to be 12hours of security at willowdale, from 6pm to 6am - that was as of last November, but I don't know if it is still going...hope so! I have the Eden Brae OnsiteEye camera on my site, & I haven't seen 'random' walk-through's to date (but maybe my site is known to have a camera..?) Have you lost anything/items missing..? Sent using Tapatalk Hi Redfernpoint and PixGT, I hope your builds are going well. I just got my OC last week (yay)! Anyhow I was moving stuff late one night last week and I got stopped by the security guard. So he starts later than he used too and not sure how long he stays there until- but at least he is there. As daylight savings kicked in last year I wondered if they were going to change the hours! Take Care R Thanks PixGT and WillowdaleR. Great to know about it. Sent using Tapatalk Thanks PixiGT. It's great feature that you can observe your site and build progress, Eden Brae sure know how to win customer from other builders. I'm still in early stage, nothing is really portable for people to take (except the slab ) Re: Building at Willowdale 1016Feb 27, 2015 7:23 am Hi Redfernpoint, The camera definitely has been great - especially in terrible weather to make sure there's no storm damage during construction. I actually didn't know there would be a camera at my site at the beginning! I received an email from Eden Brae with the login details prior to commencement of construction, & I've been lucky enough to watch the build progress from there It's a relief to hear that nothing's gone missing from your site...and to know your slab is still there! You shouldn't be charged extra by builder anyway. Mine was approved within 2 weeks. I was told that in normal circumstance (depends on which certifier/council and session), private certifier takes 2-4 weeks and council takes 6-8 weeks. Hope that help Re: Building at Willowdale 1019Mar 01, 2015 6:57 pm RonyMay Hi all, A question to those who have started to build, just wondering if you could let me know how long things took at council before you were given the go ahead to start building? if it helps we are looking at building a double story house Ours got approved within 3 weeks of submitting to council. Although I think we got lucky. Typically take 6-8 weeks. Having said that, if you have don't have to bear any extra cost for going through CDC and your plans strictly comply with regulations, then stick with CDC. good luck either way. Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
