Hi,
Just looking for some advice. We have put a contract on a block and the soil tests have just come back. We were expecting M but instead it has come in as H1 Problem Site. We provided the compaction certificate but apparently there is almost 3 meters of fill so that's why they have kept the P classification.
Originally our builder quoted an extra 9k for H1 slab (apparently with piers). We are just wondering if it's likely that the site costs will come out a lot more then this? According to the soil tests slab piers and footing piers are required into firm existing fill, although as this is our first home we are not 100% sure what this means. Because of the Christmas break we won't get a fixed price addendum until mid January. It's going to be a loooong wait I think
