We didn't realise that it was that cheap, our budget was $500 for a letterbox so were happy with that Home Solution by Metricon - Luna 28 http://hayleyandjonshouse.blogspot.com.au/ viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73643 Re: Melsie 68 1407Dec 15, 2014 12:06 pm Nice Letterbox I've looked at those ones but can't convince hubby I saw you mentioned your daughter needing grommets! I just have to say it was the absolute best decision we ever made for our daughter. And now just over 2years later, her ears were declared 'All fixed' My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Melsie 68 1409Dec 15, 2014 2:05 pm Thanks vetty and kelly. I wasnt convinced either but I think it looks good . Vetty was she in pain ofter at all . Well we all have gastro .sitting here feeling sorry for myself coz im usually on the go . I can say that my upgrade on carpet did its job . Vomit everywhere and had to be in my room lol .rang trever carpets to see how to get smell out .they told be bicarb soda .I have sprayed so much spray that I have a headache .he he . And a bad note the vomit stained my tiles . Was cried like a baby . Imported ceramics are coming out on tge 12 jan again .coz I think something strange is happening . The other week it toke a bit of a scrub to get blood off .they are 100% sure they dont need to be sealed but im thinking the wax left on them is somehow trapping the stain .I dontknow . I can understand if they were cheap .but they were from $110 sqm to $80 sqm . Hopefully when imported ceramics come they will get sorted out . Re: Melsie 68 1410Dec 15, 2014 4:57 pm Bugger about the gastro and tile issues Hope you all start feeling better soon. In all honesty Melsie, my little one's ears were so bad that she was pretty much in constant pain from them anyway so the op actually got rid of most of the pain She was more distressed about the bandage on her arm from the canula The first couple of days we bathed her in the sink just to make sure no water went near her ears then we used ear putty which works brilliantly. They told us the grommets would fall out naturally between 6-12months. In the end it took over 2years for the last one to fall out My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Melsie 68 1411Dec 15, 2014 6:29 pm The funny thing is she is not in pain .but full of wax . They said her hearing is low .but I find she can hear when I talk .but hopefully her behaviour changes coz I noticed she can go abit crazy .lol hopefully we will get in soon .thanks for the info vetty Re: Melsie 68 1412Dec 17, 2014 3:38 pm Oh Mels you poor things...Fingers crossed you will all be better well before Christmas and getting it over with now and yes that sounds strange with the tiles, good thing the tile place is responding quickly!! Re: Melsie 68 1413Dec 17, 2014 7:43 pm Thanks trees . Much better now .gone through 5 of us 3 to go . I keep warning the kids to run to the toliet lol . And dont run in my bedroom. Im crossing everything that I find a answer to my tiles with nothing that cost money . Im feeling if its not one thing its another . But im trying too stress less. Your poor kiddies hope they are all much better now and no one else gets it! And your poor tiles hope they find the problem seems so odd that they are staining like that! Melsie 68 1417Dec 20, 2014 7:41 pm We've got a pakman letterbox as well... Highly recommend we do lots of online shopping. I've added the code to my address details on sites like eBay so the address includes the code... So if the parcel won't fit through the slot the courier can open the door and pop it in. It also means the courier can't possible miss the pakman nothing worse than them dropping a card at your door and a trip to the post office that could be avoided..
