Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Melsie 68 1162Oct 19, 2014 2:26 pm Melsie those look awesome! The colour in the pictures adds so much. We have boxes and boxes of artwork that we haven't been able to hang in rental houses for 4 years. Can't wait to finally unpack them:) What is your paint colour? Our tiles are a very similar colour, except a matte finish instead of gloss. Re: Melsie 68 1164Oct 19, 2014 2:33 pm Hi ardie. I feel I really need to put my kids photos up . Lol . They probley will be put on tv units and buffets coz I like to swap a change them as they get older ..I have so much still in boxes . My paint colour is dulux warm neutral . Very smart women to not get gloss he he . Re: Melsie 68 1165Oct 19, 2014 3:11 pm Melsie, the hallway looks amazing. We're hoping to achieve something similar (but on a smaller scale) in our entry. Re: Melsie 68 1166Oct 19, 2014 3:16 pm The pics look lovely Melsie... Gosh I love your hallway. It's so sophisticated looking. I really thought having such a wide hallway was a waste of space .but it does have the wow factor and deluxe its sophisticated like me (not) now to buy a shaggy black hallway rug . But that will be down the track . Re: Melsie 68 1170Oct 19, 2014 9:13 pm I so love your hallway!!! its super long and looks great!! I am hoping mine will look as good Re: Melsie 68 1172Oct 19, 2014 10:55 pm Great artwork, where did you get them from? I'm looking for something to add some colour to our living room. I never thought I would feel this way and by all means dont wont anyone that is building with redink change their view about them . No shower fix as yet and I dont even know who to blame .im passed from one department to another .I am know going to construction department . Im really down and am annoyed I am wasting my days thinking about this . I ask to talk to the manager and he says he is too busy and passes me off to maintaince . Maintaince had organised two handymen to come .but really if I wonted handymen to come fix my job I would just get my partner to do it .my ss told me I had the best tiler when I had my tiles put down .why dont they grab one of the 5 people who did it . Apparently its not that easy . Even tried to find out scott parks email .its not about not being able to even use my shower its how long its taken to fix it . I really dont know what to do . Its fxucked . I even asked the question today so what if a manager was to build with redink will they get their home fixed the next day . She replied of course there a manager . Wtf we will pay full price and we will wait .good one redink . My sister tells me that its my axiety but wouldnt anyone react the same way ? Re: Melsie 68 1179Oct 21, 2014 11:46 pm Hi, just read your post about aboriginal art. This link is to a website where they have cheaper up and coming artists as well as the high price stuff, so if you do want to go down that track one day you could take a look. http://papulankutja.com.au/ I know it was probably a throw away line but thought I'd send the link anyway. Re: Melsie 68 1180Oct 21, 2014 11:55 pm Na im really interested in the artwork .as my partner is aborignal and really wont apart of his culture in the home.his uncle is a painter and when we had our removal busniess moved some of his artwork .but he is super expensive we have a small print and its like$400 (but we didnt pay for it ) thanks for the link . |
