Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 30, 2013 11:07 pm We have designed a luxury house for a client, which will be constructed primarily in pre-cast concrete. He would like the roof to be a concrete slab with insulation and finishes internally but no further external finishes. I am new to Oz and would be surprised if we can get away with an exposed concrete roof finish without any additional roofing materials/weatherproofing applied on top. Infact, in my opinion the roof should not be constructed in concrete due to buildability /cost /waterproofing issues. Can anyone please provide any advise on this matter?
