We kept our slab under water in Feb for 3weeks! Cures the concrete and minimizes cracking. Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 203Sep 27, 2014 3:51 pm As promised Rache - here are some piccies of our new driveway which looks so good even though its only brushed concrete haha and our timber (albeit dirty) flooring - looks great too! And a teaser pic of our oven half installed (no range hood yet) and our splashback! Will wait until range hood is in this coming week before I take a better pic of the whole kitchen but it looks amazing Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 205Sep 27, 2014 8:33 pm Oh my! We are having Monument colour for roof and garage door, its more of a dark charcoal if I remember correctly. We are just rendering the front, which will be painted Jungle cloak green. Our bricks will black with black feature bricks to the front pillar. Ours will look like a dark Goth house compared to all the others......lol! Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 209Sep 28, 2014 3:14 pm Ahh yup nice.. we went monument gutters will our blue roof.. I am a fan of the darker style houses rather then white n beige which seems so popular haha csnt wait to yours unveiled! Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 210Sep 28, 2014 4:06 pm Kitchen splash back looks great, what a pop of colour, wish I had of picked something brighter....floors are beautiful...good choices, you both must be so frilled.... Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 211Sep 28, 2014 6:37 pm Yep pop of colour really makes a statement that we both love.. cant believe this coming week is the last week and we will be in next week! Hopefully the builders clean is good as it is so dusty and dirty inside and cant wait till the outside is turfed and fenced! Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 212Sep 28, 2014 6:51 pm Yes, we are too. Sick of the light beiges. I love your deep blue roof colour, very striking. It looks black until you look more closely. We will also be having a jet black driveway but it will all be offset by loads of greenery in the garden. Did you get a quote done for fencing? Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 213Sep 28, 2014 8:25 pm Yep we had two meetings on site yesterday so should get the email quotes any day now! How are you doing ur driveway? We are tossing up between painting it or stencilling it.. Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 214Sep 29, 2014 4:57 am We are doing exposed aggregate in black. After having a plain black concrete driveway at our last house we have realised that exposed aggregate is a lot less maintenance. Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 215Sep 29, 2014 11:23 am Yeh builders clean is just OK,you will want to go over it again trust me! How exciting for you.don't worry it still continues after you move in,but its lovely and new!! Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Plantation Sienna Vogue - New Home Presentation 7th Oct 220Sep 30, 2014 8:13 am good stuff B - we are tryiong to get everything done before xmas but there is a few things on our 'when we can afford it' list so not sure these will be done but most of it should be - we are thinking driveway stenciling and tiles on alfresco can wait and just deal with brushed concrete for a while but we should have fences, turf and gates done by end of October!
