Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 24, 2013 6:33 pm 1. SECTION6/7 needs WEINESS: witness must not be an applicant or spouse/partner of an applicant and must not be related to the applicant or spouse/partner. So who can be the witness? JP/Policeman? What kind of documents should I present? 2. Two documents of Contract to build: A. a copy of your contract to build, dated and signed by all parties. Submit all the copy of contract which contains over 100 pages or just a few main pages? B a title search showing the applicant as the registered proprietor. Re: A few FHOG questions 2Nov 25, 2013 11:07 am 1. If it's not specified then I believe any adult (someone over the age of 18 years) can witness, as long as they're not a relative as stated. 2. I think you would need to send a full copy of the contract. 3. Did you use a conveyancer/solicitor? They should have a copy of a title search. Otherwise contact your bank (I'm assuming you have a mortgage?) to make sure they have lodged the Transfer of Land. If you have any other questions I suggest you contact the State Revenue Office (or whatever it's called in NSW) directly as they are the ones you are lodging the form with!
