Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 23, 2013 11:49 am Just wondering if anyone else out there has brought or is looking at buying at Appin Valley? We are looking at two packages at the moment - one is second release and the other is third release which they are saying should be registered April/May 2014. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 3Dec 03, 2013 4:19 pm I have a neighbour! What lot have you brought? We are in stage 2 as well just finalising contracts at the moment. When do you think it will register? Researching a build in South Australia from Sydney. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 6Dec 03, 2013 7:07 pm We are lot 2078 so 5 blocks down from you on post mill road! We were lucky ours is a house and land package because it's so hard to pick a builder! Have you been through any display homes? Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 7Dec 03, 2013 7:20 pm We have been through some display homes, the only problem is they only display the larger houses and we are after a smaller house, so I find it hard to get a feel of what it will be like going of the plans Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 8Dec 04, 2013 6:11 am We found a few plans we liked as we are only building around 19 sqs which is small in comparison. Often the builders didn't have display homes in the plans we wanted so they would take us through ones that were still in the building process. All 3 of the smaller builders we looked into did this for us. We then walked through the display home to get a feel on finishing etc and how much we would need to upgrade. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 9Dec 04, 2013 6:34 am We are looking at building a house between 18 and 19, the house we are most interested in at the moment is with a small builder that I can't find much information on so I am a bit concerned, I'm thinking we should have gone with a house and land package ourselves, it would have been less stressful , I guess we still have a little bit of time to decide on a house Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 10Dec 04, 2013 9:12 pm Hey everyone, I was waiting to see if there was anyone else who has bought blocks or looking a buying in appin valley? how exciting!!..we have put down our deposit on a block in stage 3,just working out all the other details. We couldn't either about our builder but the process so far has been seamless and their build quality looks great from what we cant tell. Everything has been back well before the estimates they have given us with no errors. What builder were you looking at? Researching a build in South Australia from Sydney. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 14Dec 05, 2013 12:35 pm Thats great...We are 26&30 just married a few months ago, looking to build the future family home thought with bigger blocks & outta town feel would be a bit further away from the rat race... Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 17Dec 07, 2013 8:51 pm Abbylayla We were looking at blue tounge homes They were one of the ones we briefly looked at before we found Meridian Homes. Their display home at Gregory Hills looks really nice. Welcome Jazzad29 - What stage/lot are you building in? Researching a build in South Australia from Sydney. Re: Anyone else in Appin Valley? 18Dec 08, 2013 3:03 pm We drove past the land development today - lots of progress from a few weeks ago. There is roads, footpaths and street lights! You can't drive in yet but they are working on the entrance to the estate. They might be on track for a Feb/March registration after all!
