I don't know the cost of doing this and hope that the builder will be happy to do this for us as we are doing this change at prestart has anyone done this before and what will the cost be? Re: a different way to have the power points on the island b 2Nov 21, 2013 9:27 am There was another forum member who did that some time ago but for the life of me I can't remember who. The only "issue" I can see is your cupboards underneath will be shorter. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: a different way to have the power points on the island b 3Nov 21, 2013 9:50 am I have seen variations of this as well and think its a fab idea, I was thinking of doing the same thing even without waterfall ends. I just think it looks tidier . Re: a different way to have the power points on the island b 4Nov 21, 2013 10:28 am I saw another poster had them inside one of the cupboards which would also work well if its only a thing you would have plugged in occassionally. I think she said she used it for the toaster... she kept a toaster on a tray inside the cupboards, plugged in full time and just lifted the toaster out whenever she needed it. It does mean that the cupboard door won't shut properly whilst the plug is in use, but I don't see that as a big issue if it is only a temporary thing. Re: a different way to have the power points on the island b 9Nov 21, 2013 9:19 pm I don't like the ones in the top. We have essastone and put the switches on the other side under the edge that the stools will go under. You can't see it. It won't look fab with a plug in it but you won't need it often and not for anything you would leave out. If you're referring to Eufy homebase, then just put a switch between a datapoint and put the homebase elsewhere near another device in your home unless you want teh… 9 13838 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5228 Hi, have purchased a house with 2 single garage doors. The Centre pillar one side sits proud to the other. Can I change 2 doors into one. Please see picture. 0 6201 |
