Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 14, 2013 11:00 am Hi Everyone, Hoping to start our new build early next year, had hoped to lay slab in December but land didn't register and been advised wont happen until Feb 14, bit concerned as advised civil works would be finished in October, now mid November and temporary fencing still up, ground still dug up around the electricals and the top of the adjoining road hasn't yet been sealed. They have laid the turf strips around the edges. Really want to get on the dirt to see what the slop is really like. Out in Elderslie and living just up the road in our home which we will make an investment, so no really fuss with moving out. My fourth build and going with Adenbrook in Sydney, new design "Orion" but customised so really quite different to the original plan, thanks to Nicki & Dan in helping getting the design there, nothing was too much trouble and only a few slight modifications when the drafty got the amendments. Would love to hear from anyone who has built with them and their experience. Have picked a PGH brick "Gravel" still not 100% on facade and colours but didn't really love any facade and the costs of them was a bit much. Would love to hear any feedback. Thanks Mel Re: New build with Adenbrook Sydney 2Jan 07, 2014 10:08 pm Hi, We are in tender stage with Adenbrook. We have extended the plan and now eagerly waiting for tender.
