Allcastle - who else has built with?

Hi,
We have outgrown our house.
I have read through a few of the forums, and the key message appear to be the least number of changes to the standard, the least number of problems.
I am interested to hear people's experiences / thoughts...and feedback from anyone who have used Allcastle (good and bad) - Sydney area.

We are currently building with them. Can't wait until they have finished and we have our house and we no longer have to deal with them. Wouldn't build with them again.

We have had a mixture of both admin and quality issues. Lots of issues with people working from the wrong plans, 'forgetting' to add things to the tender, changing and removing things from the contract without our request or consent. They also refused to address any of the issues picked up by the independant inspector we engaged. Communication has been poor at best.

Hi Bowskie,

Do you the orange colour pip inside slab pop up at my kitchen room use for what?

The location is the same location Island Bench but our Island Bench does NOT has tap water on top or gas cook top or diswaher at all. It just a Bench underneath have a drawers.

I cannot ask the builder as we are not allow to go in. We just went in by ourself and took a photo a hole on the floor.

But don't know what that hole of orange pipe for what?

If you know from your past experience please let us know.

We are building the Highgrove Mark 2 and have had absolutely no issues at all so far. Our peg-out, cut etc should begin within the next 2 weeks. We will be posting updates as things evolve on http://www.buildingourho.me

Hi, For those of you building with Allacastle, are you allowed to go on site by yourself without the supervisor there?

due to OHS and various other regulations you are not supposed to go onto any construction site.

That said.. during our build, the fencing was far from desirable there were a few local residents I caught 'having a look around' right up until lockup.

So take that as you may
