Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 09, 2013 6:54 am Hey guys, We are building with Clarendon at The Ponds. The house is virtually completed with few touch ups needed. I noticed absolutely nothing was done during the whole of last week. I'm trying to understand the reason for this. Do builders wait a week in idle to test the house out? Is this a standard stage in the construction journey? I vaguely remember a post on H1 few months ago with someone mentioning a test run phase. Any comments, much appreciated. Thanks Sand. When the house gets closer to being finished it can reach the situation where one tradie needs to be finished before the next can start, so a delayed tradie means nothing done until the tradie can schedule his work.
