Your house frontage looks sublime, amazing street appeal! Re: Welcome to Paradise - Week 26 - Glass splashback photos 822Dec 24, 2014 10:04 pm Thanks everyone, getting very excited about getting keys. We've decided our main paint colour is going to be dulux ecru half. We aren't worried about feature walls just yet. We will add those as we go along. We have received our layout plans for the landscaping. Wow, very exciting! All becoming so real now. DH has booked the labourers and concrete for our driveway and alfresco area for the 5th Jan. I'm busy packing and cleaning our rental. All go Not long, not long. My girlfriend used it in her last house and it was stunning! Unfortunately it didn't go with my very difficult to match kitchen cabinets! BTW your render colour looks very similar to ours Re: Welcome to Paradise - Week 30 - Exp Agg Concrete Drivewa 835Jan 06, 2015 1:35 am Hi Burns, just read through your build, fantastic job well done. Do you mind doing me a favour and taking a close up shot of your curved handles in kitchen. I have been looking for something like that and just can't seem to find it. Also who are you getting to do the aggregrate? Thanks Michelle Re: Welcome to Paradise - Week 30 - Exp Agg Concrete Drivewa 836Jan 06, 2015 9:51 am Rache So close now Burns. Looking forward to seeing photos of that gorgeous agg! Everything looks so beautiful! Unfortunatley DH cancelled the concrete yesterday as it was just too hot to pour - not good for the concrete so it should hopefully be going in today. Melsie68 Is your partner doing your agg Yes - he is a civil engineer by trade and works with concrete every day, he has some labourers from site coming out to help him with the concrete pour today, but he has saved us a good $5000 by doing it himself. asha Cant wait to see it burns - what colour are you getting? BTW your render colour looks very similar to ours I'm not really sure, DH has been in charge of this and I've kinda left him to it. I think it is Hanson's Oyster Creme with additional white colour added to make the concrete whiter. goldy-9 Hi Burns, just read through your build, fantastic job well done. I really want it for our driveway but need to find out A) if the builder will let us organise it ourselves (it will cost way too much if the builder does it) and B) how much it would cost. I have no idea how much it costs, can anyone tell me? Re: Welcome to Paradise - Week 30 - Exp Agg Concrete Drivewa 840Jan 06, 2015 12:03 pm Hehehe!! Reckon the concrete would have set while it was being poured yesterday Burns!
