We are providing either advice or ratings on an average of around 8 homes per week and find in the main that homeowners do need to spend more to bring their homes up to the required standard which is contrary to the governments initial advice back in 2002 that 5 Star energy efficient homes would cost no more to build - [ victorian media releases ] I'd be interested in feedback from those with first hand experience either way. The owner & builder sign this to state there are no variations & it is included with the building or planning application.
