Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 86Aug 30, 2014 1:27 pm MDolley Working drawings received yesterday, express posted today. Fingers crossed for fast council approval. congrats! I've got mine earlier this week too; but I'm not too happy with it and thinking of changing builders. btw are any of your walls fibre cement? all of my south-western wall is fibre cement Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 87Sep 01, 2014 2:59 pm bamboo12 congrats! Are you saying that some of your external walls were fibre cement instead of brick? It all says "SELECTED FACE BRICKWORK". Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 88Sep 02, 2014 12:09 am uhuh, i guess coral homes are cutting corners and using fibre cement on one of their walls, i had a look at their springfield display centre, their walls seems to be rendered fibre cement Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 89Sep 02, 2014 9:49 am bamboo12 uhuh, i guess coral homes are cutting corners and using fibre cement on one of their walls, i had a look at their springfield display centre, their walls seems to be rendered fibre cement That's a bit odd. My builder was cheaper than Coral for a similar sized house and they are doing full brick. I don't think I'd be happy with one whole wall just being fibre cement. Fibre cement is used above windows on all Coral houses as standard (as most/all? other builders do the same). If you want brickwork above the windows you need to ask for it. And there is a cost of course. For rendered houses it's a no brainer to go with fibre cement as you won't notice it. But a whole wall? That really doesn't sound right. My Noosa 23 Build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72782 Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 92Nov 01, 2014 5:25 pm yeah it's a whole wall, i'm not overly thrilled about it. but's it's a wall that nobody sees and the only way to access that wall is through the laundry or garage. I'm going ahead with coral homes, i've got council approval just waiting for a start date Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 93Nov 03, 2014 4:22 pm nicky72 How is everyone going? Re: Price from different project builders in brisbane 99Dec 01, 2015 9:51 pm Hi Guys Did any of you end up building with Bella Qld Properties? I am considering building with Bella Qld Properties as well but have been unable to find any online reviews. Checked on productreview as well, no luck. If any of you end up building with them how was it? good or bad? Have you heard about them from others? I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17511 First time poster long story short we are planning knocking down rebuilding a house in Wavell Heights We are thinking to go with Omni built homes as they are but flexible… 0 16266 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5228 |
