Have already had a sparky come and install the oven and cooktop (we supplied our own so had to organise it ourselves), and our new bedroom suite is being delivered any minute now. I had to come into work but Mr T is there working from home to let people in and out (we took a desk, his laptop, a heater, and an esky full of snacks so he could get through the day lol). We'll move carloads of small stuff after work each day this week, and have rented a moving truck on the weekend to do the big stuff. Hubby might stay there a day earlier but I will be officially moving in on Friday Now, anyone want to buy our other house? - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Renovated...a LOT. Built in 2013. Nah Ari no bites on the other house unfortunately. We'll organise to rent it but keep it on the market and just hope it sells sooner rather than later. - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Only problem is there's no phone/internet wiring in the estate yet, so I can't connect! Hopefully its not too far away. You'll hear from me when it's up and running! - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Renovated...a LOT. Built in 2013. We moved into our place at the beginning of June, and had a baby three weeks later. Fair to say the garage and theatre are still an unpacked mess Just wanted to give a quick update. We LOVE the house. There were bugger all issues upon moving in (condensation in a double glazed window which was fixed the week after reporting it, power point in the roof was apparently in the wrong spot for the air con guy to hook everything up which was fixed as soon as he told us, and the front door latch is a bit dicky) and seven months later we havent had any faults show up. Hopefully will get some time to come back soon and babble a bit more about the house - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Renovated...a LOT. Built in 2013. One can't ask more than that in single go Love these positive feedback on forums. It's exciting time for you. When possible pls post some photos for us H1 members, lol. Re: MrsT12s AM530 - Done! 171Jan 08, 2015 12:02 pm Hi MrsT, Congrats on the house and baby! Just reading through your thread. So much info - love it! I am new to these forums - we are building with Mainvue - Ivory436. Going to our colour info session next week and so excited. Just wanted to know how ur flooring is going / looking now that you are living in your house. I love your colour choice of the darker carpet in particular. I have 2 children under 3 and am leaning towards the darker carpet in the bedrooms as I love the lighter one but at the same time you can see every little mark left. We have left the door to the butler pantry running into the hallway but have also thought about closing it up and putting shelves there as well - I think it works much better. Michelle Re: MrsT12s AM530 - Done! 172Jan 08, 2015 1:57 pm Thanks guys! The flooring is all great. We have 7 nieces and nephews who visit a lot, a ginger cat, and a very spewy baby and it's all still good as new :p the carpet hides mess really well. - MrsT Brought first house in 2008. Really looking forward to it. Thanks for your thread and your place looks great. We are looking at the eclipse facade, did you end up going with it? Happy with it? I'd love to see some photos! Thanks! Josh Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 I ended up refusing him to pay to fix HIS mistake. I paid money to fix just one ceiling, that too was overpriced but had no choice I shared my build story on another… 2 8598 These are photos of small sections as I don’t want to identify myself yet.
