Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Lockup 72Feb 27, 2014 6:43 pm I love the colour of my cabinets and i am so glad i went for them, we are also having a jet black ceasarstone bench top and i kept second guessing my choice thinking that it may just be a bit too dark but I was visiting the Dale Alcock display in the Spires in Baldivis with my father and they have the the same laminex with a dark (stainless steel) benchtop I was so relieved to see it work with the dark bench because most of pics i've seen have white or a light grey top with the Blackend Linewood. Some more pics (courtesy of my dad who visited our place today when the plumber was there). Hi Melsie that is completely fine with me , I keep adding photos of my build because I know how much I have valued actually seeing photos that others have put up it helps so much with choosing colours etc. ~~ Lethe ~~ My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Lockup 73Feb 27, 2014 7:32 pm I really do like the cabinets. What colour are you doing the walls? A light colour would look good with the cabinets. Grey is in! Our bath was put in and all the brickwork around the showers and cupboards in the bathroom and ensuite was done. Our Ceilings , door and door frames were painted (not sure if they are done or if they need another coat yet) Our Gutters were painted and the undercoat on the front door and fascia was done as well. The ceiling in the carport & porch was painted The concrete was poured in the carport (which I apparently don't have a photo of yet ) The tilers have tiled the floor in the wet areas (bathroom, toilet, ensuite & laundry) and were hopefully starting on the walls today!!!! Have you got a PCI date? Are you excited??? Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, Homebuyers Centre 80Mar 19, 2014 2:30 pm No we don't have a PCI date yet, but but my reckoning there isn't much left to do. They only need to paint the final coat on the door and door frames, finish the internal plumbing (toilets, tap ware etc), finish the electrics, install the appliances, lay the flooring, install the window treatments, plumb the down pipes into the soak wells, paint the entire exterior, do all the brick paving and install the garage door... on second thoughts there's heaps left to do which is why it is very disheartening when there is no one on site for days Anyway we went to visit our place last Saturday only to discover the back door wide open with no tradie in sight so after the initial alarm we took advantage of the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the inside. It was my sister's first time in the house since lockup!!! So with out further ado here are some photos...
