My preferences may be a little out dated but looking at the mock up I think your windows stand out too much. I was realy drawn by them in the picture and the rest of the colours get lost. When you really have a good look and get past the windows I think the rest works really well. One thing to consider for the inside again I might be very outdates here. We painted the walls, ceiling & cornices in the same colour to add the height illusion. Mind you if I am thinking correctly Phoneix has got moonriver on her walls and it looks great. Since you have Woodland grey on garage door & entrance door, why not use the same for the windows? Re: My colours so far (cross-post) 4May 09, 2008 10:50 am Hi judie, I actually wouldn't change the colours at all. I think the windows standing out in that colour is more a photoshop thing than an actual problem. To me they look like they match your render really well and paperbark (which I have on my current house windows) is quite a subtle colour for window frames which seems to blend well with most colours. Thanks! I'm spoke to the builder I'm not sure if this is all true but basically went along the lines of they considered all options and if I was to compact and fill it… 2 7353 The OP has gone The latch and striker are definitely not aligned but there was no point trying to help the OP understand that. Hence the reason they are no longer with us. 12 5812 It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO. If in doubt find a contract… 1 8667 |
