Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 28, 2013 4:28 pm my redink build handover was in mid july... ive been in touch with the redink in charge for close to 3months now... and I still have... an ugly electrical meter box at the front of my house big wire mesh (rusty!!) that I cant remove on my own.. leaning against my fence! each time they say it'll be removed..we wait..and wait..and nothing happens... im really frustrated because calling and emailing doesn't seem to work post hand over!! can anyone advice on what I can do??? Re: Redink - Post handover issues 2Oct 28, 2013 7:54 pm When you say "ugly meter box" do you mean they haven't removed the temporary site power? If you can't get redink to remove it then call the company that they hire it from and tell them your build finished months ago and they should come and collect the box. The company they hired it from is usually written on it, and if it is still there then redink will be paying for it which is their own fault! Have you tried calling their office and asking to speak to their customer service manager? Re: Redink - Post handover issues 3Oct 28, 2013 11:48 pm Hi eeleen, we had similar issues with junk still on our block post handover, we were thinking of dumping it in the front of the red ink display home which is just near our house. In the end I got the lady who's in charge of all the CLOs involved, Amanda and the md James someone and they got it sorted. I then jut started dealing with Amanda for everything and she got all issues sorted for us. Darren williams was our build's supervisor...and hasnt done anything as well. Looks like I will h to contact Amanda. The building procesz has been alrite but post handover was been q disappointing!! So tempted to get it removed and bill redink..but of course I know I wont be getting anything back from them judging by how they handle these issues theyve caused.... Re: Redink - Post handover issues 5Oct 30, 2013 11:06 am Yeah, my CLO was hopeless, so I asked for her bosses name and email (that's Amanda Matthews) and I actually asked to speak to Scott Park, but he was in Paris! so the MD sent me a long email apologizing for everything and Amanda got everything sorted and even the area manger came out to sort things out. Amanda would also call to follow up to make sure everything was done as promised. I think Theresa is actually leaving Red Ink,if it the same lady I have been dealing with recently for our hot water system issues (She was really helpful -but mentioned she was leaving very soon to go to 101) My Thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63545 I am looking at building a house.
