Hope you get in soon - we've been waiting ages.

Things in Perth are taking forever. It's been way to long for us and they havent even put the roof on as "apparently Bristile are at fault because they are not supplying the workers to put the tiles on the roof" even though all the roof tiles / wood has been sitting out the front for 4 weeks now.

Yeah have noticed quite a few houses seem to be 'paused' but at the same time, the other houses seem to be flying through... must be something to do with the rates on offer at certain builders.

PCI booked again for tomorrow, let's hope this time we're actually good to go!
Good luck tomorrow!
Cheers! PCI went pretty well, we went though and picked up some mostly minor issues.

Biggest issue was that some tiles in the wet areas still needed rectification as they weren't level. When we did the initial check a few months ago, there was 49 tiles to be replaced. This time around, closer to 17.

Other than that everything was standard stuff. We had a building inspector go through and found the exhaust vents weren't connected in the roof space and insulation had been a bit disturbed and needed to be re fitted.

All in all it went well and we should have handover within 10 working days. I've booked the painters in, and will book the flooring ppl in on Tuesday! Exciting times ahead
So went past the house last night, expecting to see some work done. Was extremely disappointed to see that nearly nothing has happened. I know they said aiming to complete by17/4 so they still have time but I'm not holding my breath.

Was extremely disappointed last night and just stood there for about 10 minutes not knowing what to think/feel.

Still no final invoice either so even if they finish all work by next Friday, it will be tight getting the bank to finalise paperwork and payment in time now.
So apparently still on track for Friday handover... fingers crossed everything lines up well! Only got the final invoice on Friday evening so now the bank has to scramble to try get the $$ ready in time.

Getting cautiously excited again
Seriously wishing you good luck. Hope you get keys friday and everything on pci list is done. Fingers crossed
Got keys! Still some work left to do, mostly minor, but the two major pieces are in progress and due to be completed by Monday.

Just feel relieved, can't wait for the painting and flooring to be finished!
So we're moving in tomorrow! Most of the furniture is in, painting and flooring complete etc!

Very happy with how the floors turned out, and apart from the painter getting a bit of paint on some of the light switches (which is easy to clean off), he's done a great job too. Very happy.

Negatives are that our furniture doesn't really suite the house, but we always thought this would be the case. So will need to replace that as we go.

101 have completed most of the items on the list, however there's still some items remaining.
The site supervisor has been really good and has been checking up on the progress regularly. Just need the remaining 2-3 items sorted out and we'll be pretty happy.

Photo's to follow
Not the best quality - still in the process of cleaning it up so floorboards are a bit dusty.. Got our massive TV in one of the photo's there.

Wow, its huge!!!
Wow where did you get your TV from, looking for that size for our theatre....

Looking lovely, love the servery window!
So glad that you finally got keys and that 101 is finishing up for you. Your floors look gorgeous and wow, that massive TV is awesome

Been a bit of a drama for us scheduling handover with Redink, fingers crossed all goes smoothly. Good luck with the moving in etc.
So I must say i've been pretty impressed with 101 and how responsive they've been with regards to getting the final items completed. Still a few stragglers left to resolve, but the communication lines with the site supervisor have been really good.

We had a leaking roof after some torrential rain last weekend, and 101 have come out and sealed the upstairs windows - time will tell whether that will resolve the issue or not!

We're still settling in, boxes everywhere etc. but definitely enjoying living in our own home again, after living in a rental for 3 months.

General Discussion

Your house should come in "as new" condition. It should be clean, and without stains
