Hi All,
I'm just starting the process of building a second house, so I've been doing some lurking on here. I'm thinking about building with redink, so I've been reading all the current build threads with them to see how its going - seems that most people are having an overall positive experience, even if it is a bit slow?
Anyway, I built in Canning Vale about 4 years ago now with Homebuyers Centre and found these boards really helpful, though I didn't really find them till after I'd started building - I've decided to get in a bit earlier this time
I put a deposit down on a block in Newhaven, Piara Waters on the weekend - its a 15m frontage, 480m2 so I'll get a bit of a backyard with this house It's not expected to get titles till April next year, so there's a lot of waiting for me, but that kind of suits me - more time to choose things and more time to save!
After a lot of slightly obsessive looking at floor plans, I pretty much decided on the Redink Tasman display as my favourite, so I'm building the base model of that with some of the upgrades, and I've been talking with the salesguy at the display about a few modifications.
I've attached the modified floor plan for any opinions - I'm building by myself, so I'd appreciate some extra points of view - particularly on the change of bed 4 to a study with a doorway off the main entry rather than with the other minor beds, or of anything to be aware of in the redink process - I'm probably paying my deposit with them next weekend when I get the costings for the modifications - hopefully they won't be too scary!!!
