We debated about whether to do overheads in our scullery, but have decided to just do open shelving above the bench space ... our scullery is a scullery & WIP in one, I added space to it to make it have about 5ms of benchspace down 1 1/2 sides (with sink and dishwasher) and then the remaining 2 1/2 sides to be pantry shelving. Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 43Jan 16, 2014 9:41 am I would love to see your house plans Marcia Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 44Jan 17, 2014 2:16 pm Wow!, your kitchen is amazing. Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 45Jan 19, 2014 6:44 pm Love the changes you made to the plans! And the scullery looks divine - I would have loved to include one but no space unfortunately! We are also building with HomeGroupWA, and I must say I too am guilty of having a little play around in paint to try and see what the finished products will look like! Congratulations on your final plan Toni's thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71645 Re: Sharon's build with home group WA THE FINAL PLANS!!! 53Jan 21, 2014 11:46 pm This house had five bedrooms and a activity room, but after we changed the activity room into a bedroom the study became too small for us so we add a extra 1m into the house which made the study 1m longer, the theatre bigger and the larder a lot bigger!! Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 54Jan 22, 2014 12:22 am Love what you have done with The Bordeaux and also love your selections We are building a 5 bed too. Once I workout how to post photos, I will update my thread Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 55Jan 22, 2014 1:10 am Cupcakes your kitchen is huge .then again your house is huge nice size rooms .i would of loved to have bigger bedrooms but hubby decided to wided our hallways( we used to own a removal business ) so he has this thing about easy access to rooms .i don't know if its to late for you but your man hole would you prefer it in your carport .just an idea:) Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 56Jan 22, 2014 10:51 am Wow love the plans - your house is huge! Definitely go through them in detail, we found quite a few mistakes in ours..down to the location of taps being incorrect etc! And I second the idea to put your manhole in the garage! We did this and it didn't cost anything to move it Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 57Jan 22, 2014 11:24 am Yes I did think about moving the manhole to the garage, but we moved it to the L'dry and I cant remember why? Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 58Jan 22, 2014 12:53 pm I have sent a email to HGWA with the things they need to fix on the plans and in the Addenda there was only four things that we saw that needed to be corrected 1. the games room door to the outside is flowing the wrong way http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz47/sharonross13/finalhouseplans1001correct_zps4bc232ad.jpg 2. the power point the larder/scullery is to low http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz47/sharonross13/Larderpowerpoint_zpscbb42b5a.png 3. the oven surround states in the addenda that it is be polar white silk, when it should be Lustrous elm. 4. in the larder/scullery it says that the cupboards doors are polar white Flint (we don't know what flint means), but the doors should be silk finish Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 59Jan 22, 2014 2:42 pm Wow!! Your plans look great My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Sharon's build with home group WA 60Jan 22, 2014 2:46 pm All looking good, hope you move swifity along to slab down. We are busy waiting for our contract drawings to be sent to us... hopefully in the next week or two and then its onto finance and prestart, still feels like such a long way to go! My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 8 2248 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 4419 |
