HGW 186Mar 21, 2014 8:35 pm They called me today, They re pegged the site last week, they at last have sent me the bill and my bank all the paperwork. Once it been paid we should start moving. Whoop whoop not long now!! Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 187Mar 22, 2014 5:23 pm I have been thinking and looking into pools today. we don't want a pool for a few more years as we would like the younger kids to be over 5. plus we need more money. so for now we are going to leave room for the pool and build the garden and patio around that space Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 188Mar 22, 2014 5:33 pm We have a pool now...and I am never getting another one again lol the upkeep is annoying specially when it falls back on me as hubby works a lot and my kids lost interest in it pretty quick it was only used a handful of times this summer and we already have the cover on it! But you have a lot of kids so it would probably get used a lot Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 189Mar 22, 2014 5:46 pm my kids are under the hose every day. Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 190Mar 22, 2014 5:56 pm like I said yours will probably get used lots and they do look super nice my kids are pre-teen and teen so they do not have much interest in much haha! Apparently my dog likes the pool though found her in it this morning crying thankfully she is light enough to have not sunk with the cover! Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 191Mar 22, 2014 9:27 pm Belsen your so right . I have 6 kids but my 13 and 12 year old rather sit in their rooms or with friends my other kids like to play with the kids down the road . I have to be super organised with dinner and stuff for them to swim after school because I need to watch them . On the up side my chn 6 and 4 year old girls learnt how to swim without a floaty at the age of 3 . Oh and it is good when you can't be bothered giving them a bath you tell them to jump in the pool . And I to seem to clean and check pool all the time . I know more about my pool than my partner . But then saying all that if I have the money I might buy a pool only because it takes up space and I do think it is easier than having grass because I will probley end up mowing the damn thing Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 192Mar 22, 2014 11:00 pm We had a pool in our last house and didn't think we would miss it while renting. I can definately say we missed it BIG time, getting one as soon as funds allow Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 193Mar 22, 2014 11:11 pm Melsie68 I have 6 kids but my 13 and 12 year old rather sit in their rooms or with friends my other kids like to play with the kids down the road . Yep I would of loved one when my kids were younger Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 194Mar 23, 2014 12:32 am 2-cupcakes-pls I have been thinking and looking into pools today. we don't want a pool for a few more years as we would like the younger kids to be over 5. plus we need more money. so for now we are going to leave room for the pool and build the garden and patio around that space Good idea to plan everything around the future pool - makes it so much easier than having to undo everything when it comes time to put one in. I cant wait to have a pool again, I spent most days going out to my parents this summer as they have one and it would have been a lot easier with the rugrats just to jump in at home. Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 195Mar 23, 2014 1:16 pm belzey like I said yours will probably get used lots and they do look super nice my kids are pre-teen and teen so they do not have much interest in much haha! My poor friends dog died after getting under the pool cover and couldn't get out be careful! Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 196Mar 23, 2014 2:25 pm never had a pool but with the new home decided to get one and so glad used all the time . very easy to clean i have a robotic cleaner through it in for a few hours and done. i do get the pool guy out once a month to check everything which is fantastic would recommend one i live also close to the beach so i now have the best of both worlds Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 197Mar 23, 2014 2:31 pm We have no more money for one now. So it will be grass until I go back to work When that happens we will rethink the pool idea and see if the kids want one. We may not get one until 5-10 years down the track. May just get a spa so that we will use it more Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 198Mar 24, 2014 4:04 pm Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 199Mar 24, 2014 4:04 pm It's called a pacman. Re: Sharon's build with home group WA Moving slowly toot 200Mar 24, 2014 4:21 pm Nice find! Seems like an awesome letterbox, especially as I get many items delivered (like books) and that would be very handy instead of getting them dropped just outside the front door. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17580 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10410 |
